Sunny Temple, (born December 6, 1984) mononymously known by his stage Rhyda
Molenu is a Nigerian singer, gospel artiste, songwriter and record executive.
He is widely known for his controversial lyrics “Finish Gravity, (2010) Getaway
(One Thousand Five Naira) (2010) and Abule Cover.
Rhyda Molenu hails from Nigerian Imo state in
Ugwuta Local government.
EDUCATION:
He attended Alpha comprehensive College, Okeagbo, Ilogbo Ajangbadi, in Lagos
state where he obtained his West Africa Examination Council (WAEC). He also
attended Sabo Oniba Primary School, where he obtained his first leaving school
certificate (FSLC).
Rhyda Molenu began as an instrumentalist; he played drums in
church.
He has a very strong Passion for Music, he took a very bold step and move
into music in the early stage, where he
did his first single in the year 2003,
titled “I No Go Lie”,
He has attended
different shows and had performed in
different events and platforms in 2007
where he performed in a concert with
late Dagrin called “Hidden Treasure”
organized by Lagos State Government
to swear in Raji Fashiola as Lagos State
Governor in 2007, held at LTV
Agidimgbi Ikeja GRA .
MUSICAL CAREER:
In 2010, he released a controversial
song title “finish Gravity”. Though it
was a beef song replied to Gravity against Timaya. This was the first song that took
him to the next level of his music career. From there, he got a record label “F.O.F records
Later on he did another song under F.O.F Record, titled “Get Away” (One Thousand Five Niara) another beef song against Mallam spicy to Terry G. After the song “Get
Away”, the C.E.O of F.O.F Record Deji Bakare now ” Mr. Nigeria Award” in 2011-
2013,
He later left F.O.F Record, before he came up with another hit song tittled “Molenu”
ft. Slim Joe (Oti yanya Crona), under Molenu Entertainment.
He has been working on different songs with different Artist till date.
He recently released his singles titled “Abule” (Patoranking Cover) which is one of
the trending songs in music industry right now.
He is happily married with two (2) kids both are boys.
